October is traditionally the most hectic month in Milan: after the fashion shows just closed, the city runs to reach its goals before the end of the year, trying to cope with any type of event. Trade exhibitions, book presentations, talks, meetings and conventions are spread on the urban landscape.
This year the schedule will be even fuller, because October will be the last month of Expo2015, closing on October 31st, booming in the last weeks and approaching the sold-out mood.
Invest in Lombardy, for the fourth time, will accept the challenge to organize its yearly event in October: Invest in Lombardy Days.
The results of the 2014 edition were encouraging: 500 participants, 21 Speakers, 9 Hours of meetings, 3 Events.
The program has grown up, not only in terms of length, but also increasing the variety of topics and the cooperation with partners. The schedule will start on October 12th and end on October 22nd, offering five open events and four events upon invitation.
The focus will be on attracting foreign investments to create innovation and growth: from the policies to the projects, but the program will also touch topics as the role of R&D in FDIs and the influence of young leaders in creating an attractive territory.
As for the previous edition, Invest in Lombardy Days will start with the Invest in Lombardy Awards. Eight companies will be aknowledged for their strategies in investing in Lombardy and their role in improving the territory. You can have a look at the winners for 2014 here, the prizes for 2015 will be revealed only on October 12th.
Invest in Lombardy Days involve some of the main players of the Milan ecosystem in the organization, sharing events with Intesa Sanpaolo, Il Sole 24 Ore, Bocconi University, HKTDC, Federchimica Assobiotec, Assolombarda, DEinternational, AHK, Expo in cittá and Expo 2015 Tavoli Tematici.
De Luca & Partners and Pirola Pennuto Zei & Associati are playing the role of main partner.
Milan will be even more beautiful and attractive this October.
