Looking at foreign direct investment in the three-year period 2019-2022, Lombardy has attracted 299 projects for a CAPEX estimated at 6.2 billion euros, leading to the hiring of over 13,000 workers. This is according to the fDi Markets database owned by the Financial Times that monitors greenfield investments by foreign companies, covering all countries and sectors worldwide.
